For Luke’s first Valentine’s Day at his new school, we decided to take an idea from Pinterest to create a fun Valentine treat for his classmates. In 5th grade, it is difficult to come up with an idea that is not too dorky or immature for Valentine’s Day, but I think we came up with something fun, but not too “cutesy”!
One great thing that his class is doing tomorrow is hosting a Random Acts of Kindness Brunch where they will be making and serving waffles at the school. I will be going to help with the process and plan to bring my camera! What a great way to teach students the importance of doing kind things for others!
Tomorrow night we are getting together with some friends for a family Valentine dinner. It will be a busy, but very fun day!
